How to set up the briefing and what the AI does on its own

Updated 17 Oct 2026 3 min Owner / managerLocation manager Web app

An administrator decides when the briefing arrives, what to report right away and what AI Control may do without confirmation. Each employee chooses whether to receive the briefing on their phone and by email.

Where to find the settings

On the home page, click Briefing settings — the button is visible to administrators. Changes are saved immediately.

Briefing and notifications

  • Briefing time — from 05:00 to 12:00 in the company's time zone, 08:00 by default. At this hour AI Control reviews the data, and administrators and location managers get a push and an email.
  • Report urgent items right away — during the day, every 15 minutes, AI Control checks failed audits with no task and critical HACCP deviations not fixed on time. About new critical cards — for example, an audit score below 50%, a violated important requirement or an unfixed critical deviation — administrators and the managers of that location get a push. On by default.

What the AI does on its own

For each type of action, choose Suggest (you decide, the default) or Act automatically:

  • Schedule unscheduled audits — when requirements are met only some of the time, the score drops or violations keep recurring. The AI schedules a one-time audit for whoever audits this location most often.
  • Assign tasks to managers — find the cause of recurring violations, review overdue tasks. If the location has no manager, the task goes to an administrator.
  • Send reminders — to auditors about missed scheduled audits, to employees about overdue tests and unread instructions.

Rules for autonomous actions:

  • the AI acts only on new cards and takes one action per card;
  • no more than 10 autonomous actions per day per company;
  • everything done is visible in the Done by AI section on the home page and in the Decision log;
  • the AI never closes violations or tasks on its own, never deletes anything and never acts on audit reliability cards (photos, auditor scores, mystery shopper).

Autonomous actions and AI explanations are available on the “Network” plan. On other plans the Act automatically switch is inactive, and cards are shown without explanations.

What to check

The What to check section lists all 15 data checks with descriptions. Turn off the ones you don't need — their cards stop appearing from the next briefing update. What exactly each check looks for: What AI Control checks.

Hidden signals

Here is everything hidden with Don't show this kind… on cards: which check, for what (one card, a location, an employee or the whole company), who hid it and when. The Show again button returns such signals to the briefing.

Personal briefing notifications

Each employee sets up their own notifications in their profile, in the Notifications card:

  • AI Control morning briefing — a push In the app and an email By email;
  • Urgent items from the briefing (daytime) — a push.

The briefing arrives only if it has cards for you. It's always kept under the bell. You can also turn off the email using the link in the email itself. Emails are sent only to employees with web dashboard access. See Personal profile.

Frequently asked questions

Why didn't the briefing arrive in the morning?

The briefing is sent only if it has cards for you. Check that notifications are turned on in your profile and that jeCheck notifications are allowed on your phone.

The AI scheduled an unnecessary audit. What should I do?

Cancel it in the planner, like a regular scheduled audit. To stop the AI from doing this, switch Schedule unscheduled audits to Suggest.
