Shift schedules, timesheets and payroll — without spreadsheets and chats

Build shift schedules for every location in minutes: templates, 2/2 and 5/2 rotations, auto-fill by staffing demand. Employees clock in on the location tablet with a PIN and photo, the timesheet builds itself, and pay is calculated from hours — with night and holiday rates, bonuses and KPIs.

How to set it up — help center guide →

Highlights

01

A schedule in minutes, not an evening

Drag shifts, paint them from a template, copy a week forward or turn on auto-fill — the system picks available people with the right position.

02

See who actually showed up

Clock-ins and clock-outs with photos, late arrivals and early leaves, who is on shift at every location, and an alert to the manager when someone doesn't show up.

03

Timesheets and payroll without Excel

Payable, night, holiday and overtime hours are calculated from clock-ins and your company rules. Payroll sheet, payslips and an export for accounting in one click.

Why it matters

Only the manager understands the Excel schedule

While the schedule lives in a spreadsheet and a photo in a group chat, shifts get mixed up, swaps get lost, and at month end the timesheet is put together by hand from memory and a paper log. Mistakes cost twice: paying for missed shifts and unhappy staff.

The usual way

  • Schedule in Excel, staff get a photo of the table in a chat
  • Shift swaps happen in messages, the manager finds out last
  • Arrivals are written in a notebook, nobody counts late arrivals
  • Timesheets and pay are calculated by hand on the last day of the month

With jeCheck

  • Every employee sees the published schedule, changes arrive as push notifications
  • Shift swaps and give-aways by request, agreed by the colleague and the manager
  • Clock-ins with PIN and photo on the location tablet, late arrivals counted automatically
  • Timesheet and payroll ready on any day of the month
Staff scheduling

Features

Shift schedule per location

An employees × days grid for a week, two weeks or a month. Shift templates, drag and drop, copying, open shifts, hours and labour cost per day.

Rotations and auto-fill

2/2, 5/2, 1/3, 3/3 patterns or your own. Auto-fill by location demand respects time off, "can't work" days, rest between shifts and hour limits.

Clock-in and clock-out

A kiosk on the location tablet: the employee picks their name, enters a PIN and the camera takes a photo. Breaks, late arrivals, early leaves, auto-closing forgotten shifts.

Timesheet

Attendance and absence codes per day, payable hours, night, holiday and overtime hours. Printable timesheet and Excel export.

Payroll calculation

Hourly pay, salary or per-shift rate with rate history. Premiums, bonuses, penalties, advances and percentage deductions. Payroll sheet and payslips.

Employee KPIs

Metrics entered manually or calculated from jeCheck: location audit results, tasks on time, tests, punctuality, HACCP logs. The bonus depends on achievement.

Attendance and discipline

Clock-in by PIN and photo, not by word of mouth

Put a tablet at the entrance: the employee finds their name, enters a PIN, the camera takes a photo — arrival, departure or break recorded. Someone else's PIN won't work, and the photo shows who was at the tablet. The manager sees who is on shift, who is late and who didn't show up.

  • Kiosk on the location tablet via a link — no special hardware
  • Employee PIN and a camera photo with every clock-in
  • Clock-in from the website with geolocation — if the company allows it
  • Late arrivals, early leaves and "outside location" are counted automatically
  • Shift reminders for employees and no-show alerts for managers
  • Forgotten shifts close automatically; manager corrections keep a reason and history
Timesheets and payroll

Timesheets and payroll — by your company's rules

The timesheet is built from clock-ins and the schedule: payable, night, holiday and overtime hours. Pay is calculated at the rate valid on each day, with premiums, KPI bonus, penalties, advances and deductions. An approved payroll locks the month against edits.

  • Hourly, salary or per shift — set individually for each employee
  • You set the night, holiday and overtime multipliers
  • Working-day calendar with public holidays of Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan
  • Bonuses, penalties, advances and percentage deductions
  • Payroll sheet, payslips and an Excel export for accounting
  • Employees see their hours and, if the company wishes, their pay

How it works

  1. 1 Set up locations

Shift templates, staffing demand, pay rules and holidays — once.

  2. 2 Build the schedule

Manually, by rotation or with auto-fill. Checks highlight rule breaches.

  3. 3 Publish

Employees get a notification and see their shifts. Swaps go through requests.

  4. 4 Get timesheets and payroll

Clock-ins become a timesheet, the timesheet becomes payroll and payslips.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the module is built primarily for them. The schedule includes everyone at your locations, including people without access to the web dashboard: they see their shifts, get notifications and clock in on the location tablet with a PIN. Office staff and owners can be hidden from the schedule.

Any. There are ready rotations 2/2, 5/2, 1/3, 3/3, 4/2, 1/2 and your own sequence of working and days off, night shifts and shifts past midnight. Shift templates with short codes are also used in the printed schedule.

On a tablet at the entrance in kiosk mode: the employee picks their name, enters a PIN and the camera takes a photo. If the company allows it, they can also clock in from their web account with geolocation. Clock-in in the jeCheck mobile app is in development. A manager can add a record manually — with a reason saved in the history.

Yes. While you build the schedule it highlights overlapping shifts, short rest between shifts, overly long shifts, exceeding weekly hours, shifts during time off or on "can't work" days, a position the employee doesn't hold and an expired health certificate from the HACCP module. You set the limits.

From the timesheet and your company rules: hourly rate, salary pro rata to the monthly norm or per-shift pay, night, holiday and overtime premiums with your multipliers, paid absences, KPI bonus, bonuses, penalties, advances and percentage deductions. The rate valid on the day of work is used.

No. Statutory taxes and contributions are not calculated — the rules differ by country and change often. You can set deductions as a percentage of gross pay (for example, pension contributions) and export the payroll to Excel for accounting.

Yes. The location schedule prints for a period with an "Acknowledged" column for employee signatures, the timesheet prints in a standard form, along with the payroll sheet and payslips. Everything also exports to Excel.

An employee requests vacation, sick leave or a day off, offers a colleague a shift swap or gives a shift away. The colleague agrees, the manager approves — the schedule updates for both. Open shifts can be taken by anyone with a matching position and no overlap.

The free Start plan (one location) includes shift schedules, clock-in and clock-out on the kiosk and website, timesheets with printing and Excel, time-off requests and shift swaps. Payroll calculation, payroll sheets, payslips and employee KPIs are part of the Network plan.

Monthly performance metrics per employee: some are entered by the manager (for example, average bill), others are calculated from jeCheck — location audit results, tasks on time, tests, punctuality, HACCP logs. The total score affects the bonus once the threshold is met.
