Home: the AI Control morning briefing

Updated 17 Oct 2026 5 min Owner / managerLocation manager Web app

Home is the first page you see after signing in to the dashboard. Every morning AI Control reviews your company's data: audits, tasks, the audit plan, HACCP logs, tests and instructions. It puts a short briefing on the home page: what's urgent, what needs attention and what to do. You don't have to dig through reports for problems yourself.

Where to find the briefing

Open Home — it's the first item in the side menu, in the Control group. The same page opens right after you sign in.

What's on the page

  • Greeting and the key point in one sentence. Under the greeting the AI writes what matters most today. Below that: how many urgent issues there are, how many cards in total, how many actions the AI took on its own, and how many problems went away on their own this week.
  • Yesterday's totals. Audits yesterday, Average result, Violations yesterday — compared with the day before. Plus Tasks closed yesterday and Overdue tasks (with a deadline in the last 60 days).
  • Briefing cards by group: Urgent, Needs attention, Audit reliability, People and training, Good news.
  • Done by AI — what the AI did without you in the last 7 days, if you allowed it. See How to set up the briefing and what the AI does on its own.
  • What your actions achieved — 2 weeks after an action on a card, this shows whether the situation has changed.
  • The Decision log tab — everything decided on cards in the last 30 days.

What a card consists of

  • Title and description — what was found. Every number in the description comes from your data.
  • AI explanation (with a sparkle icon) — what it most likely means and What to do today.
  • Row of ✓ and ✗ — the latest answers for a requirement at the location, from oldest to newest. A red icon next to the name marks an important requirement.
  • Evidence — links to audit reports and tasks; photo cards show the photos themselves.
  • Action buttons — for example, Assign a task to the manager or Unannounced audit. How to use them: How to act on a briefing card.
  • Labels: new — the card appeared in the last 24 hours; didn't help — action was already taken on it, but after 2 weeks the problem is still there.

Who sees what

  • Administrators see the briefing for the whole company.
  • Other employees with web dashboard access see only cards for their own locations — the ones they are assigned to. Cards about audit reliability (repeated photos, auditor scores) are visible only to administrators.

Every morning administrators and location managers get a push “Today's briefing is ready” and an email with the key points — if the briefing has cards for them. The email and push can be turned off in your profile — see How to set up the briefing and what the AI does on its own.

When the briefing is updated

  • Every morning at briefing time — 08:00 in the company's time zone by default. An administrator changes the hour in the briefing settings.
  • During the day, every 15 minutes AI Control checks for urgent items: failed audits with no task and HACCP risks. Administrators and the location's managers get a push about new critical cards.
  • The Refresh button (for administrators) recalculates the cards right away, without AI explanations. You can click it at most once every 5 minutes.

A problem that AI Control no longer detects leaves the briefing on its own and goes to the Decision log with the status Resolved on its own.

If your company has only just started, the briefing may be empty: conclusions need audits, tasks or logs from recent weeks. While there are no cards, the page shows Briefing is being prepared or All quiet.

Plan

The home page with the briefing and all data checks work on any plan. AI explanations for cards, the key-point sentence and autonomous AI actions are available on the “Network” plan — see Plans and billing.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the AI get its numbers? Can I trust them?

Problems are found not by the model but by ordinary calculations over your data: the latest answers for a requirement, average scores, task deadlines, log statuses. The AI only explains the findings. If the AI text contains a number that isn't in the data, that text isn't shown — the card keeps its description without the explanation.

Where is analytics now?

Where it was — in the Analytics group of the side menu. Home doesn't replace analytics: it shows only what needs a decision today.

Why do I see fewer cards than an administrator?

You see cards only for your own locations. Cards about audit reliability and company-wide cards (tests, instructions, knowledge gaps) are visible to administrators.
