Mystery shopper

See your locations through your guests’ eyes

Create a visit and send the shopper a link — they open the assignment and form in their phone browser, with no app or account. They check in with “I’m here” and geolocation, time the visit and photograph the receipt. You review the form with the system’s hints, and the visit becomes a regular audit: report, mailings and tasks for violations.

Highlights

01

Nothing for the shopper to install

A link or QR code opens the form. One question per screen, everything saves automatically — even if the connection drops.

02

See whether the shopper was really there

Geotag, time on site, photo capture dates and re-used photos — the system highlights where to look closer.

03

Results in the big picture

An accepted visit is an audit on your checklist: same report, mailings, automated tasks and analytics, plus a location ranking by shopper scores.

Why it matters

Staff recognize the auditor. Not the guest.

When the manager walks in, everyone follows the standard. How staff treat an ordinary guest is only visible from the outside. Yet mystery shopping programs often live in spreadsheets and emails: forms get lost, it’s hard to verify the shopper was on site, and results never reach the shared analytics.

The usual way

  • Form in Google Forms or Word, photos and receipt sent separately via messenger
  • No way to tell if the shopper was on site and how long they stayed
  • Results compiled by hand, hard to compare locations and trends
  • Violations from the form never become tasks for the location

With jeCheck

  • Assignment, cover story and form in one link, photos and receipt inside the form
  • Geotag, visit timing and automatic photo checks for every visit
  • Location ranking by shopper scores and visit history for each
  • An accepted visit is an audit with a report, mailings and tasks

Features

Form by link

The shopper works in their phone browser: no app, login or password. Send the link by email or messenger, or show a QR code.

“I’m here” and visit timing

Check-in with geolocation, “ordered”, “served”, “paid” and “left” buttons, and a timer for the minimum time on site.

Audio, video and photos

Conversation recorded right in the browser or uploaded from a voice recorder, video and location photos, photos for questions and the receipt. Recordings are private — only administrators can listen.

Automatic fraud checks

Distance to the location, visit duration, visits outside the window, photo capture dates, photos from other visits, receipts over the limit.

AI review of the form

A visit summary, the location’s strengths and issues, inconsistencies between answers and comments, and questions worth asking the shopper.

Location ranking

Average shopper score, trend by visit and locations that have never been checked. Visits feed into shared audit analytics.

Coordinator review

A decision in a minute, not half an hour

The form arrives in the review queue with hints already attached: was the shopper on site, how long did they stay, are the photos their own, is there a receipt. AI summarizes the visit and highlights inconsistencies. You accept the form, return it to the shopper with a comment, or reject it.

  • Flags: geotag, time on site, visit window, capture date, re-used photos, receipt
  • AI review: summary, location issues, inconsistencies, questions for the shopper
  • Audio transcript: AI checks the form against what was actually said
  • Return for revision — the shopper sees your comment at the same link
  • Review queue with a jump to the next form
  • An accepted visit becomes an audit with a PDF report
  • Receipt reimbursement status: to pay, paid
Ranking and shoppers

Which locations delight guests — and which don’t

The ranking is built from accepted visits: average score, latest result and change from the previous one. The shopper pool keeps contacts and stats for each shopper, and when assigning, the system warns you if that shopper visited the location recently.

  • Average shopper score for 90 days compared with the previous period
  • Trend for each location and a list of locations without visits
  • Visits in waves: one wave covers all locations at once
  • Shopper pool: contacts, accepted visits, revisions, form quality
  • Warning about repeat visits by the same shopper
  • The shopper picks the form language: Russian, English or Kazakh

How it works

  1. 1 Create a visit

Checklist, locations, visit window, cover story and scenario — start from a template if you like.

  2. 2 Send the link

By email to a pool shopper, via messenger or as a QR code. The shopper needs no account.

  3. 3 The shopper visits

“I’m here”, visit timing, answers with photos, the receipt and an overall impression.

  4. 4 Review and accept

Flags and AI show where to look. An accepted visit is an audit with a report and tasks.

Frequently asked questions

No. The shopper opens a link in their phone browser with the assignment, cover story and form. No login or password, answers save automatically, and offline answers are queued and sent once the connection is back.

The shopper checks in with “I’m here” and geolocation, and the system compares it with the coordinates of past audits at that location. You also see time on site, visits outside the scheduled window, photo capture dates and photos already uploaded in other visits. These are hints — the coordinator makes the call.

Yes. The shopper records audio right on the form page — the recording is saved on the phone as it goes and uploaded in parts, so it survives a dropped connection. They can also upload a voice recorder file, video and location photos. Only company administrators can access recordings, and AI transcribes the conversation and checks it against the form. Before enabling it, make sure covert recording of conversations is legal in your country.

Any of your checklists: Yes/No and text questions, weights and required photos work the same as in an audit. The shopper also describes the employee, gives an overall impression and photographs the receipt — these items can be turned off.

An accepted visit becomes a regular audit: a PDF report with a “Mystery shopper visit” section, checklist mailings, tasks for violations according to your automation scenario, and analytics. You can return the form to the shopper for revision — they’ll see your comment at the same link.

Yes. Keep a pool of regular shoppers with contacts and stats, or create anonymous links — the shopper introduces themselves on opening. Links can be handed to an agency in bulk: one per location.

The audit report lists “Mystery shopper” as the auditor — without the shopper’s or coordinator’s name. Only the shopper and company administrators can see the form link.

If AI is enabled for your company, after the form is submitted it summarizes the visit, highlights the location’s strengths and issues, finds inconsistencies between answers and comments and suggests questions for the shopper. It’s a hint: AI doesn’t analyze photos, and the decision stays with a person.
