AI assistant in the web account
The AI assistant is a chat in the web account that knows your company's data: audits, locations, checklists, tasks, tests and the knowledge base. You can ask it a question in plain language, or ask for a chart or a checklist draft.
Where to find the assistant
The Ask AI button is in the bottom-right corner of web account pages. It isn't shown on test-taking pages. The chat panel stays open as you move between sections.
The panel header has icons (a label appears on hover):
- History — past conversations; you can delete ones you don't need;
- New chat — start a conversation from scratch;
- Wider / Compact — panel size.
If the button isn't there, the assistant isn't available to your company — see Limits, plans and privacy.
What the assistant can do
- Answer questions about your company's data. How the chain did over a period, which locations dropped, which violations recur most often, where there haven't been audits for a while, how auditors are performing, whether the plan is on track, how many tasks are overdue and whose, how employees are doing on tests.
- Build charts. The assistant shows trends and rankings as a chart right in the chat.
- Give links. To audit reports and sections of your account.
- Search the knowledge base. It finds your company's instructions that are available to you.
- Explain how to use jeCheck. For “how do I…” and “where do I find…” questions, the assistant answers from this help center and links to the article.
- Work with the page you have open. The assistant knows where you are. For example, in the checklist builder you can ask “Suggest how to improve this checklist” or “Which questions of this checklist fail most often?”.
- Answer professional questions about quality control: service standards, sanitation, food safety, HACCP, occupational safety, staff training.
- Prepare drafts of checklists, tests and tasks. They're created only after you click Create. Learn more: How to create a checklist, test or task with the assistant.
How to ask a question
- Open the chat. Click Ask AI.
- Type your question. For example: “Which locations dropped this month and why?”. An empty chat shows ready-made suggestions for the current section — click any of them.
- Follow its progress. While the assistant gathers data, you can see its steps and reasoning. The Stop button interrupts the answer.
- Follow up. Ask your next question in the same chat — the assistant remembers the context of the conversation.
If you don't specify a period, the assistant uses the last 30 days and states the dates in its answer. To compare with an earlier period, just ask: “compare with last month”.
What the assistant doesn't do
- It doesn't delete or change data. It doesn't edit checklists or tasks, assign tests or change settings — it only tells you where to do that.
- It doesn't create anything without you. A checklist, test or task appears only after you click Create.
- It doesn't go beyond work. The assistant only answers about jeCheck and quality control. It politely declines recipes, programming, general knowledge and personal topics and suggests work-related alternatives: for example, a baked goods quality checklist instead of a recipe.
AI can make mistakes. Double-check important conclusions against reports and the Analytics section.
AI in the audit report
Separately from the assistant, AI can write an analysis in the audit report — you turn it on in the checklist settings. Learn more in the Checklists section.
