My schedule — for employees
"My schedule" is an employee's personal page: published shifts, clock-ins, requests and hours for the month. It is available in the jeCheck mobile app (the schedule section) and in the web dashboard — Staff → My schedule, if you have access to the website.
My shifts
Only published shifts are shown: date, time, break, hours, location, position and the manager's note. If the manager has already changed a shift but hasn't published the change yet, you see the previous version. If the company allows it, you can also see which colleagues work at the location on the same day.
When the schedule changes, you get a Schedule updated notification, and before a shift — Your shift starts soon.
How to clock in
- Open the schedule section in the app.
- Tap "Clock in". Allow the app to use your location if the company requires it, and take a photo if required.
- Or scan the location's QR code — "Clock in" → "Scan QR".
- Breaks and clocking out — in the same place: start and end a break, and clock out at the end of the shift.
At a location with a kiosk, clock in on the tablet: pick your name and enter your PIN. You can clock in from the website only if the company allows it. Details and errors are in Clocking in and out.
Open shifts
The list of open shifts shows open shifts at your locations that match your position and don't overlap your shifts and absences. Tap a shift to pick it up. If the company requires approval, the request goes to the manager; otherwise the shift becomes yours right away.
Requests
- Absence — choose the type (vacation, sick leave, day off on request, etc.), dates and a comment, and attach a document if needed. Until the manager responds, you can cancel the request.
- Give away a shift — choose your shift and a colleague, or offer it to everyone suitable.
- Swap a shift — choose your shift and a colleague's shift within the next two weeks.
- Incoming offers — colleagues offer you a shift or a swap: accept or decline.
How approval works is described in Requests.
Availability
Tell us when you can't or want to work: weekly by day (for example, "can't on Wednesdays") or on a specific date, all day or during certain hours. The manager sees this in the schedule, and auto-fill takes it into account: it won't place shifts when you "can't" and offers shifts first to those who "want".
My hours and pay
For the month you can see: scheduled and payable hours, night, holiday and overtime hours, days, late arrivals and absences, and by day — the timesheet code and hours. If the company has turned on showing pay, you also see the amounts: accrued, deducted and net pay.
Frequently asked questions
I don't see my shift
The manager hasn't published the schedule yet, or the shift is at another location. Check with your manager.
Clock-in fails: "You're … m from the location"
You are farther than the allowed radius. Move closer to the location, or clock in with the location's QR code or on the kiosk.
I made a mistake with a clock-in — what should I do?
Only a manager can correct a clock-in: tell them, and they'll make the correction with a reason.
