The mystery shopper works through a link in their phone's browser — no app and no account. The form guides them step by step: assignment, visit, questions, outcome. To see it through the shopper's eyes, use the **Shopper's view** button on the visit card or **Open as shopper** right after creating the visit.

## Assignment screen

First the shopper sees the location name, the visit window and the number of questions. Below that are these blocks:

- **Your cover story** and **What to do** — what you wrote in the wizard;
- **What you'll need** — the visit requirements: geolocation, timing, minimum time on site, receipt photo (and the reimbursement limit, if set), employee description, audio recording, location photos;
- **Rules** — behave like a regular customer, take photos discreetly, record times as the visit goes, write down facts.

If the link is anonymous, the shopper enters how they'd like to be addressed and taps **Start visit**. Before the window opens there's no button — the shopper sees “The visit hasn't started yet” and a countdown.

## The visit on site

1. **“I'm here”.** The shopper taps the button on entering. The arrival time is saved and the browser asks for location access. If access isn't granted, the shopper sees “No access to geolocation” and can tap **Retry**.
2. **Timing.** With the **Now** buttons the shopper records the stages: **Arrived**, **Ordered**, **Got the order**, **Paid**, **Left**. Times can be corrected manually. If timing is turned off for the visit, only arrival and departure remain.
3. **Visit audio recording.** Recording happens right in the browser (**Start recording**, pause, **Stop**) or is uploaded as a file from a voice recorder. If recording is required, it starts automatically when the shopper taps “I'm here”.
4. **Location photos and video.** Entrance, signage, dining area, display, restroom — photos from the camera and video as a file.

> [!WARNING]
> On a phone, recording stops if the screen locks or the browser is minimised. The shopper sees this warning. Whatever was already recorded is kept, and the shopper can record the next fragment with **Record more**.

## The form

Checklist questions are shown one at a time: the shopper moves through them with **Back** / **Next** or by swiping, and can jump to any question from the question map. Questions are answered **Yes**, **No** or **N/A** (the last option appears only if the question can be skipped in the checklist); for a text question the shopper types an answer. A “No” answer requires a description of what was wrong. If a question is marked **Photo required**, the photo is taken with the phone's camera.

## Outcome and submission

At the “Outcome” step the shopper photographs the receipt and enters the **Receipt amount**, describes **Who served you**, writes an **Overall impression** and says whether they'd come back as a regular customer. The **Submit the form** button checks that everything required is filled in and shows how many items are left.

Required: answers to all “Yes / No” questions (if a question can be skipped, “N/A” counts) and to text questions except optional ones, a comment on every “No” answer, photos for questions marked **Photo required** (except when the answer is “N/A”), and the overall impression. Everything else is required only if it's turned on in the visit requirements: arrival and departure, receipt photo, employee description, audio recording, location photos. The geotag isn't required to submit, but without it the form gets the “No geotag” flag.

## Language, saving and offline mode

- The form interface opens in the company's language. The shopper can switch it with the button in the header: Русский, English or Қазақша. The texts of the questions, cover story and assignment stay exactly as you wrote them.
- Answers are saved automatically. If the connection drops, the header shows “Offline — we'll save once you're back online”: the answers wait in the browser until the connection returns.
- An audio recording that hasn't been uploaded is kept in the browser and sent the next time the same link is opened.
